Laclo – the dried berries

Description
Laclo is a place name that can be found in several places in East Timor, but this coffee, like our entire range, comes from the Atsabe area in the Ermera region. The coffee is imported in collaboration with the non-profit organization Raw Material. After ripe coffee berries have been picked, they are sorted by hand, where damaged berries are picked away, before being dried in the sun for a month. Dried berry coffee is often a little more complicated to make, but tends to have more complex flavours. This is why this coffee is also more expensive to buy.
This coffee is harvested from 2022, but still maintains good quality. Nevertheless, we sell it for a little cheaper than what we would normally do.
This coffee has flavor notes of baked pear, cream and cake.
PS! Free shipping only applies to orders over NOK 350!
In Trondheim, we work with Jacobsen & Svart to roast the coffee beans. When you buy a pack of coffee, NOK 50 goes to development projects in East Timor.
